It’s not often we’re asked to cover separation or divorce information – especially in regards to finance. It’s an uncomfortable topic to research and not really a lot of fun to write about. But so, so important too.

Usually I sign off these posts with something along the lines of “I hope you enjoy this” but that is just not suitable here. So, please have a read and I hope it’s something you never have to utilise.

In fairness, we are starting to head towards the #500 jobs mark, so sometimes it is hard to keep track. Ok, it’s very hard to track and we’re often so busy in the ‘now’ or looking forward to the next job, that we don’t take the time to celebrate what we’ve done!

So here’s me, taking a moment to appreciate how far we’ve come and how much we’ve done; for the amazing clients we’ve written for and the experiences or opportunities that have opened up for us. And to briefly reflect on how we balance children, work, home, friends, family and everything else in our lives.

Ok. That’s enough time. Back to work writing for me now (before the kids need to be picked up from school, taken to netball and football and life moves swiftly on again).

Enjoy this story from BUPA, written back in 2017. The article, as well as the period of my life it describes, feels like a lifetime ago.
