AMBER WILSON

Amber has a strong background in media writing, having worked as a reporter, subeditor and editor at newspapers and magazines across Melbourne, Tasmania and Scotland. She has also worked in a variety of public relations and communications roles, such as media advising at a law firm, events and engagement coordinating in a university environment, and working in public affairs for government departments.

As a result, Amber’s skills range from writing hard news pieces on everything from court cases to politics, and lifestyle writing on everything from social issues to entertainment reporting. She has has plenty of experience writing media strategies, media releases, speeches, web content, internal communications such as newsletters, conference programs and grant applications, and social media.
